Eyenetra
Develop an inexpensive, easy to manufacture, and easy to use device that would leverage an OTS smart phone and a proprietary app to facilitate lensometry by minimally trained technicians.
The Problem
Taking the current state suite of expensive optometry equipment, and leveraging existing IP, embody all of it in a hand-held device that can be paired with an algorithm in an app, conducting lensometry quickly, on site at nearly any location, and by minimally trained staff.
Constrained by the range and format of existing smart phone devices, reconcile the inherent limitations with the end-user’s experience.
